There is a day of the year in which we all exchange gifts. There is a day when we give each other forgiveness. There is a day we just donate.
#GivingTuesday - this is the day we give and celebrate generosity and humanity. This is a day when everybody – entrepreneurs, families, companies, civil organizations, pupils and employees can donate some of their talent, money, food or just time to someone in need.
The idea of #GivingTuesday becomes popular in USA in 2012 as a reaction to the Black Friday and the hysterical shopping mania especially during the holiday when people usually buy a lot and not so useful things.
#GivingTuesday enables business, charities and local communities to work together to support charitable causes that are important to society and remind people that donation is an integral part of our daily lives and a way to use our money to change someone's life.
Within #GivingTuesday everyone can show their way to help a favourite cause - by giving money or items, volunteering or even sharing the cause among friends and acquaintances.
