Different look at causes, projects, and people that change our lives.
The "Charity through the Lens" Photo Competition is organised by the Bulgarian Donor Forum and the BCause Foundation. It takes place once a year. Through the means of photography, the contest offers a new, diverse view of causes, projects and people related to charity, and the opportunities to change the life around us. The competition involves both professional photographers and amateurs with no age restriction.
The Photography Competition (since 2012)
Photographs are rated by a jury composed of professional photographers and representatives of NGO-organizers. The audience chooses their favourite with online voting.
The Grant Programme (since 2015)
The Grant programme is one of a kind in Bulgaria. It allows photographers to realise their own photographic projects. It finances up to three projects worth BGN 2,000 each.
Travelling Photo Exhibition
Photographic projects, together with the photographs nominated by the jury for awards in the categories of the competition, and the photo chosen by the audience with online voting are united in a travelling photo exhibition. It is shown in at least 10 Bulgarien cities.
