A ventilator of urgent need will be bought so that adequate medical help is provided to patients with COVID-19 for each of the regional hospitals in Montana, Silistra and Shumen. The money is provided by donations, sent via SMS with text DMS SOLIDARNOST to a short number 17 777 for the three major mobile services providers in Bulgaria. The specialized medical equipment will be delivered not later than the beginning of May.

Until now the money collected through DMS SOLIDARNOST amounts to 125 000 leva.

All the money collected will be used to buy vital specialized medical equipment, protective wear of the highest protective class, as well as all other consumables, necessary in the hospitals in the environment of the fast-spreading coronavirus infection.

The Ministry of Health reports that as of today, 30 March, a reference of all donors and money, raised through the donation account, opened by the Ministry in support of the hospitals, is published on the webpage of the Ministry. From 17 March to 27 March 2020 the amount of the money raised accounts to 1 920 346 leva. The data of the incoming money will be accordingly updated.
